New Year, New You

New Year, New You! I hate that phrase. It implies that the old you is all wrong.

You could probably sit down and think of several things you would like to change about yourself, but I propose a different approach. Take a minute to write down all the things you like about yourself.

Go ahead I’ll wait!

Looking at that same list, are there things on it that you could improve on? You like your job, but if you go back to school you could move up in the company. You eat fairly healthy, how about going on a walk during your lunch break?

You don’t have to overhaul your entire life to make a better you.

The improved you can stick to the tiny alterations without any undue stress of failing at that no junk food, gym every day for an hour that lasted all of a week.

If we look at life in a more positive light, then it is easier to make small changes that will make a big impact.
