God does not make mistakes. When He decided to create you and form you in your mother’s womb, He knew He had something great for you. He knew the pain and heartache that you were going to have to go through. He knew the tears that you would cry, matter of fact, He cried before even one tear dropped from your eyes. He couldn’t stop the struggles from coming because He knew that He had a purpose for your pain. He knew that these trials would shape you into who He needed you to be. The things that you have gone through made you more compassionate. They made you more loving. They made you push a little further. They made you more like Christ.
God does not make mistakes. He knew that you would mess up. He knew that you would have that child at sixteen. He knew that you would cheat on your wife. He knew that you wouldn’t finish college. He knew that you would struggle with masturbation. Yet He still called you to do this great work. He still choose you to be a prophet to the nations. Your past may not qualify you in the eyes of man, but it doesn’t disqualify you in the eyes of God.
God does not make mistakes. There is that voice inside of you telling you that you are a failure. That voice that is telling you that you can’t make it. That you shouldn’t do the thing you were called to do. I know it’s hard to ignore that voice, I struggle with it every day. I say don’t ignore it. Use it as fuel to keep going. If the liar is in your ear that much, it must mean that this is the thing that you should do. It is that thing that will bring people closer to God. It is your willingness to expose the broken pieces of your life and how God used you anyway that will inspire the masses.
God did not make a mistake with you. You are one of his greatest masterpieces. He loved you so much that He sent His son to die for you because He wanted a relationship with you. Don’t let the pieces of your life stop you from experiencing the whole life that He has for you. Your life, no matter what, was not a mistake. God does not make mistakes.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
